Norwich Campus of Morrisville State College To Enroll Prospective Students On The Spot During Instant Admit Day August 12

MORRISVILLE, N.Y.—It’s not too late to register for the fall 2008 semester at the Norwich Campus of Morrisville State College.

The Norwich Campus will host an Instant Admit Day on Aug. 12 from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. in Roger W. Follett Hall, 20 Conkey Ave., adjacent to the Eaton Center in downtown Norwich.

Prospective students can meet with admissions and financial aid counselors and be admitted to the Norwich Campus of Morrisville State College on the spot for the Fall 2008 semester, which begins Aug. 25. They can attend either the morning or afternoon session.

“This provides an opportunity for individuals who have had a change in plans and cannot attend another school for various reasons or who have decided at the last minute that they would like to enroll in classes,” Marsha Cornelius, interim director of the Norwich Campus, said.

Interested students should bring a $40 check or money order made out to SUNY ASC for the application fee, and any academic records, including a copy of their high school and college transcripts, if applicable. Students wishing to begin the financial aid process should bring their 2007 tax returns and W-2 forms.

Additionally, prospective students should bring a copy of immunization records which is required for anything over 6 credits.

Once prospective students have met with an admissions staff member and financial aid personnel, they will be able to schedule classes with an academic counselor.
