Hartnett nets collegiate high in 19-3 win for Morrisville State women

Junior midfielder, Hillary Hartnett (Fairport, NY) tallied a collegiate high seven goals and an assist to lead visiting Morrisville State College women's lacrosse to a 19-3 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) win over Penn State Abington Sunday afternoon in Abington.



Morrisville State nets their second straight victory, improving to 2-4 overall, 2-0 in NEAC action, while Abington drops to 0-5.



The Mustangs jumped out to a 13-3 halftime lead, fueled by four goals from Hartnett and junior midfielder Alison Falkenburgh (Blue Point, NY).



Morrisville State shut out Abington in the second half, netting six more in the win.



Falkenburgh also recorded a collegiate high, netting five goals and assisting two, while teammate Lesa Ward (South Glens Falls, NY) added a hat trick for the second straight day to round out top scoring for the Mustangs.



Allison Strub (Midlakes, NY) had four saves in the win in net.



Katelyn Haas had all three scores for Abington, as Anna Dybas had 10 stops between the pipes for the Nittany Lions.



Morrisville State returns to the field Saturday at Medaille.
