Morrisville State women’s soccer falls to Penn State Berks 2-0

MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Penn State Berks scored a goal in each half to secure a 2-0 victory over host Morrisville State in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) women’s soccer action Saturday afternoon in Morrisville.

After playing a scoreless first 30 minutes, Meaghan Daly put the Nittany Lions on the board at 30:33. Emma Babp scored the second Berks goal at 75:20, locking up the 2-0 victory for the 9-2 Nittany Lions. Chelsea Ray was credited with both assists.

Jennifer Zidzik (Lambertville, N.J.) recorded the loss for the Mustangs, tallying nine saves. Savannah Cramer earned the win for Penn State Berks with two saves.

Morrisville State is back in action on Sunday, October 7 at 12:00 P.M. as they host conference rival Penn State Abington.
