MSC commencement is Saturday, May 20

New York State First Lady, Libby Pataki, is keynote speaker
Morrisville State College will hold its 95th commencement exercises this weekend.

: Morrisville State College, Drake Field (Football Field)*
* in case of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the gymnasium of the John W. Stewart Center for Student Activities on campus.

KEYNOTE SPEAKER
: Libby Pataki, First Lady of New York State
During the more than 11 years her husband, Governor George E. Pataki, has served as governor, Mrs. Pataki has actively worked to raise awareness, and serve as an advocate for a host of issues, including the promotion of women’s and children’s health issues.

UNIQUE ASPECTS: The colorful ceremony will begin with the 20-piece Syracuse Scottish Bagpipe Band, horse riders in medieval costume and herald trumpeters leading graduates into the formal commencement exercises. The field and stage will be adorned with flowers grown and supplied by students in the college's horticulture program and arranged by graduating seniors from the program.
