The Red Dragons fell to 5-16-2 overall and 4-9-1 in the conference. The Mustangs improved to 10-10-1 and 7-5-1. Junior goalie Brittan Kuhlman (Omaha, NE/Winnipeg Saints) made 42 saves for the Red Dragons.

The Morrisville State College men's basketball team posted their fourth straight win Wednesday night, handing top North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) ranked Wells College an 83-74 loss in Morrisville. The win improves the Mustangs to 10-11 overall, 8-7 in conference action. Wells drops to 11-10 overall, 11-4 in NEAC play. A back-and-forth battle, Wells hit a three at the end of the first half to post a four point lead at the break.

The Morrisville State College women's basketball team picked up their second straight victory Wednesday night, topping visiting North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) opponent, Wells College, 44-42 in Morrisville. Morrisville State improves to 5-16 overall with the win, 5-13 in conference action, while Wells drops to 3-18 overall, 3-15 in NEAC play.

Host SUNY Oneonta won seven of 10 matches Wednesday night enroute to a 31-10 victory over Morrisville State College wrestling in Oneonta. The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) announced its 2010 Fall SUNYAC All-Academic Team and Commissioner's List with Morrisville State College field hockey player, Amber Martin (Hudson Falls, NY) earning All-Academic team honors. The Morrisville State College men's ice hockey team, together with the Morrisville community, raised more than $6,000 Saturday for the Saves For A Cure program, a non-profit charitable organization that assists children, in the Rochester, N.Y. area, with their battle against cancer.

Visiting Morrisville State College women's basketball battled turnovers Saturday afternoon, recording 25 in the 56-48 loss to host Penn State Abington in Abington. Morrisville State recorded 14 first half turnovers, and trailed by as many as 12 in the second half, as Abington picked up the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) victory.

Junior Justin Delamothe (Cross River, NY) went 3-0 for the Mustangs at 125 pounds, but it wasn't enough as Morrisville State fell short in three dual matches Saturday at the Messiah College Duals. Kings College recorded the victory on the mats over Morrisville by a 36-8 final. Gettysburg won 31-9 and Messiah posted a 33-11 win over the Mustangs on the day.

The Mustangs fell to a 9-10-1 (6-5-1 SUNYAC) overall record after tonight's game against the SUNY Plattsburgh Cardinals, ending with three unanswered Plattsburgh goals in the third period.

Host Hamilton College women's basketball handed visiting Morrisville State College a 66-44 non-conference loss Wednesday night. Morrisville State drops to 3-15 overall on the season. The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has announced its Players of the Week for the week ending January 30, naming Morrisville State College freshman Taylor Vince (Barrie, ONT) the Ice Hockey Rookie of the Week. Vince, defenseman for the Mustangs, tallied two goals and two assists for Morrisville State in an 8-6 conference win over Brockport on Friday.

Visiting Gallaudet University men's basketball posted a 85-77 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) victory over host Morrisville State College Sunday afternoon in Morrisville. Morrisville State pulled to within four with less than a minute remaining in the contest, but Gallaudet remained perfect on the day from the charity stripe, hitting six of a game total 22 in the closing seconds to secure the win.

Visiting Penn State Harrisburg women's basketball hit six three's and forced 13 Mustang turnovers in the first half en route to a 74-59 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) contest Saturday afternoon in Morrisville. Morrisville State shot just 20.7 percent from the floor in the first half while Harrisburg raced out to a 44-24 lead at the break. In the second half, the Mustangs attempted a comeback attempt, but fell short as the Nittany Lions collected the win.
