Become a steward of the land.

One of the great challenges we face in today’s world has to do with our ability to identify and solve environmental problems.

Through SUNY Morrisville’s Associate in Science (A.S.) degree program in environmental conservation science, you will take the first steps in preparing for that challenge.

Primarily a transfer curriculum, the program features a rich foundation in the biological sciences as well as chemistry and physics. Your path to becoming an environmental scientist will begin your first semester with a foundation of conservation courses.

In your second year, you’ll choose from a wealth of electives that include diverse subjects like aquaculture, arboriculture, silviculture, fish and wildlife management, surveying, ecology and many more.

When you graduate, you will be ready to make a seamless transition as a junior into our Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree program in environmental & natural resource management, or continue your studies in related bachelor’s degree programs through SUNY Morrisville’s articulation agreements established with such institutions as SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry (ESF), SUNY Brockport and SUNY Plattsburgh.
