Desktops and Printing

The library offers several desktop computing areas, two located on the 1st floor and one located on the second floor. Desktop workstation can be signed into using your SUNY Morrisville username and password (these are the same credentials used for your email and Blackboard). All computers are loaded with the following software:

  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Powerpoint
  • Microsoft Publisher
  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft OneNote
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • Internet Explorer
  • Google Chrome

Accessible workstations are located on the first floor.

Scanner

The Morrisville Campus Library has two scanners for community use on the first floor.  Scans can be sent to print, e-mail, Google Drive, or cell phones.  This service is free of charge. Our scanner technology can also convert digital text into MP3 audio files. Ask at the circulation and reference desk to learn more.

iPads

Students, faculty, and staff may borrow iPads from the Library circulation desk for a one week loan period. The iPads are loaded with a variety of APPs that support course and program learning objectives as well as tools to access Library and web content. Laptop and Cell Phone Power Cords

A variety of laptop and cell phone power cords are available at the circulation desk for check out and use in the library. The following power cords are available:

  • iPhone 4 & 4S
  • iPhone 5,6, & 7 (Lightning Bolt Cable)
  • Android, Google, & Windows Phones
  • Lenovo Thinkpad and Yoga

External DVD Player

Students, faculty and staff may borrow an external DVD player which has a USB connection for one week loan periods.

Portable Chargers

The library offers several portable chargers that can be taken out of the library. Adapters to charge different laptop models are also available.

Microfilm Readers/ Printers

A microfilm reader equipped with a printer is located at the Morrisville Campus Library in the microfilm collection area on the first floor.
