Accreditation Information

SUNY Morrisville is an accredited institution and a member of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education (MSCHE) SUNY Morrisville's accreditation status is Accreditation Reaffirmed. The Commission's most recent action on the institution's accreditation status on June 21, 2022 was to reaffirm accreditation.  

MSCHE is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA).

SUNY Morrisville is approved by MSCHE to award the following credential levels:

  • Postsecondary award (< 1 year) Included within the scope to offer ONE program: Human Services
  • Postsecondary award (1-2 years)
  • Associate's Degree or Equivalent
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • Master's Degree or Equivalent Included within the scope to offer ONE program: Masters of Science (MS) Food and Agriculture

SUNY Morrisville Statement of Accreditation Status

Business administration programs are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs​ (ACBSP).

The associate degree in nursing is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
