Hardship Funding

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, SUNY Morrisville has secured resources to financially assist students so they are able to return to their studies this fall. Funding is available for incoming and returning students and applications for both will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

CARES Act

Funds have been made available for returning students (sophomores, juniors, and seniors) through the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act, or CARES Act to award emergency grants to students for their expenses related to the disruption of campus operations due to COVID-19. Eligible expenses include food, housing, health care, childcare, transportation, technology and other course materials. All requests will be considered; however funding constraints may limit the number and size of awards. Priority will be given to high-need students with limited available resources. Complete and submit an application located on Web for Students

From the Main Menu, select “Student Information & Financial Aid”; then select “CARES Act Emergency Funding Application.”

Student Hardship Fund

The Student Hardship Fund is available to assist all students who have a sudden hardship - making it so they can continue to attend college. A personal essay describing your hardship and how the funds will help your situation is required when applying. The hardship must be verified by a professor or advisor.
