Offshore Wind and Beyond: Spring 2026 Training Courses (Credit)
Explore renewable energy and earn college credit towards a credential or degree program. Use the course and registration information below to register and reserve your spot. OWTI grant-funded scholarships are available. Priority registration will be given for underrepresented populations, with reduced tuition for OWTI participants!
Spring courses: January 26-May 15, 2025, online and in-person options
RENG 101 - Electrical Theory for Renewable Energy - a renewable energy fundamentals course and wind technician course (4 credits).
- Lecture: Tu/Th 2:00 pm-3:15 pm (in-person or online/recorded options)
- Lab: Fridays 1:00 pm-2:50 pm (in person)

RENG 102 - Renewable Energy Resources - a renewable energy fundamentals course and wind technician course (3 credits).
- Lecture: Tu/Th 3:30 pm-4:45 pm (in-person or online/recorded options)

RENG 245 - Electrical Systems (in-person) – a wind technician course (3 credits).
- Lecture: M/W/F 1:00 pm-1:50 pm (in person)

Other Opportunities for You
Individuals seeking continuing education in renewable energy can enroll in one of our RENG college courses by using the registration form from the Center for Lifelong Learning, or enrolling in one of the RE degree programs. Future opportunities for training and certification will continue to be added.
