Brobbey nets first collegiate hat trick in 4-0 defeat of Gallaudet

Senior forward, Andrew Brobbey (Bronx, NY) recorded his first hat trick of his collegiate career, leading Morrisville State men's soccer to the 4-0 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) victory over Gallaudet University Saturday afternoon in Washington, DC.



Brobbey gave Morrisville State the early goal lead, connecting on a cross from Erik Whitcombe (Ogdensburg, NY) on the right just 11:53 in.



Maintaining the one goal advantage, Brobbey broke free in the 65th minute, netting a fast break score in the lower left corner on an assist from Tony Vorndran (Millville, NJ).



Twelve minutes later Brobbey netted his third of the day, hitting from 25-yards out on a pass from Andrew Stein (Oswego, NY).



Whitcombe completed Mustang scoring, netting the fourth score off a Brendan Nally (Burnt Hills, NY) cross.



Shane Sullivan (Sherrill, NY) recorded two saves in the win for the Mustangs, playing 75 minutes. Joe Bunzey (Afton, NY) played the final 15, posting no saves.



Morrisville State held the 26-4 advantage in shots and had seven penalty corners to the Bisons one.



Morrisville State returns to the field Sunday afternoon at Penn State Harrisburg.
