The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named Morrisville State sophomore forward, Chris Cerbino (Highland, NY) its Ice Hockey Player of the Week for the week ending November 14.
Cerbino notched his first two scores of the season in a 1-1 week for Morrisville State, netting the game winning score on a power play midway through the third period to propel the Mustangs to a 3-2 upset win over eighth nationally ranked SUNY Plattsburgh on Saturday.
The Canterbury School graduate is majoring in business administration at Morrisville State. He is the son of Linda and Carl Cerbino of Highland, New York.
