Collins, Relkoff named Mustang Athletes of the Week

The Morrisville State College athletic department has named western's Tawnee Collins (Evans Mills, NY) and ice hockey's Caylin Relkoff (Grand Forks, BC) its athletes of the week for the week ending November 7.



Collins, freshman rider, earned a first place finish in the novice western horsemanship class in both shows for the western equestrian team on Saturday, recording seven points in the team's double win.



The equine science and management major is a graduate of Indian River High.



Relkoff, senior netminder, collected 79 saves and a .952 save percentage in two conference wins for the Mustangs over the weekend, as Morrisville State defeated Brockport and Geneseo.



In the 8-2 victory over Brockport on Friday, Relkoff turned away 32 for a .941 save percentage in net. He followed with a 47 save (including 23 in the final period) and .959 save percentage performance in the upset 3-2 victory over Geneseo on Saturday to keep the Mustangs undefeated in conference play.



The human performance and health promotion major at Morrisville State has received numerous academic accolades, including SUNYAC Commissioner's List and All-Academic Team honors, and is also a member of Omicron Delta Kappa honor society.
