COVID-19 Testing and Protocols Reminder

Dear Campus Community,

With the winter months upon us and COVID-19 numbers on the rise, all members of our community are reminded that, regardless of vaccination status, proper face coverings are required to be worn in all indoor spaces for the SUNY Morrisville, Norwich and Syracuse EOC campuses, unless actively eating or drinking. Face coverings remain one of the best protections we have against the spread of illness and it is critically important that all students, faculty and staff adhere to these protocols for everyone’s safety.

Additionally, today, Tuesday, Dec. 7, is the last day for students to participate in pooled saliva testing and receive results before the winter break. Students who are not required to test weekly but would like to participate before returning home are encouraged to do so in Helyar Hall from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Faculty and staff who wish to participate in pooled saliva testing can do so any time by self-administering a test. Tests can be picked up and dropped off at University Police, located on the first floor of Brooks Hall. The deadline to drop off a test each week is Wednesday morning at 8 a.m. Please be sure to properly label your test with your first and last name, as well as your date of birth.

Thank you.
