Dunworth named NJAC Special Teams Player of the Week

The New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) has announced its players of the week for September 1, naming Morrisville State College sophomore

Tyler Dunworth (Poestenkill, N.Y.)
its Special Teams Player of the Week.

Dunworth, a running back and punter for the Mustangs, was selected after controlling field position for the Mustangs during the season opening 9-7 defeat to Wilkes University.

On the day he averaged 45.4 yards per punt on seven attempts, including a long punt of 65 yards.  He also downed three of his punts inside the Wilkes 20-yard line.

Dunworth currently leads the NJAC in punting average at 45.4 yards per kick.

The graduate of Averill Park High is majoring in liberal arts and sciences – humanities and social science at Morrisville State. He is the son of Diane and Jeff Dunworth of Averill Park.
