Eddy leads Morrisville State men in win over Canton

Morrisville State College senior forward Bryan Eddy (White Plains, NY) recorded 16 points and 14 rebounds as the visiting Mustangs topped host SUNY Canton 84-59 Tuesday night in Potsdam.



Morrisville State opened the contest with an 11-3 run over the first six minutes of the game and led by as many as 15 in the first twenty, en route to a 38-27 lead at the break.



In the second, the Mustangs increased their lead to 25, shooting 57 percent from the floor for the non-conference win.



Four additional Morrisville State players tallied double figures, including Dwayne Wade (Beacon, NY) with 15, Wayne Turner (Brooklyn, NY) with 13 and Brandon Hanks (Syracuse, NY) and Kucjok Ater (Syracuse, NY) each with 10.



Hanks and Wade combined for 12 assists, each tallying six.



Silvon John led Canton with 15 points and 13 rebounds.



Morrisville State improves to 7-11 overall and returns to the court Saturday at Penn State Abington.
