Five Morrisville State runners earn All-Conference honors

Morrisville State College had five earn North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Cross Country All-Conference honors following their performance at the conference championships.



Freshman Greg Johnsmeyer (West Hurley, NY) led the Mustangs with a fifth place individual finish, earning first team honors, while sophomore Ben Sargrad (Manlius, NY) crossed in 13th position and freshman Dakota Nelson (Smyrna, NY) followed in 16th position, earning second and third team honors, respectively. Johnsmeyer was also named the NEAC's inaugural Rookie of the Year after being the first rookie to cross the finish line.



On the women's side, freshman Amanda Hunt (Laceyville, PA) posted a time of 20:15, crossing the line in fourth position for first team honors, while freshman Victoria Lanquah (Bronx, NY) posted a 19th overall finish for third team honors.
