Morrisville State College head coach, Jason Longo, has announced the addition of Brian Frankenfield to the men’s lacrosse coaching staff for the 2012-13 season.

Frankenfield comes to Morrisville State from the Central Square Upstate Lacrosse League where he has been involved in all aspects of the program since 2009. Aside from coaching, Frankenfield also served as the technical advisor for the league, overseeing all teams.

Prior to Central Square, Frankenfield served as the director of marketing and sports development at the Sport Center 481 for a year, managing strategic planning and implementation for all sports, while serving as the facility manager.

Frankenfield earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in sport and recreational facilities management from New England College where he competed as a defender in both lacrosse and ice hockey. Following graduation in 2007, he returned to his alma mater, Millbrook School, to serve as the girls’ varsity hockey coach and junior varsity boys’ lacrosse coach.

The native of Baldwinsville, N.Y. remains actively involved in hockey and lacrosse clinics throughout the east coast and will be working with the Mustangs defensive unit this season.
