Host Keystone College scored four goals in an eight minute span late in the second half to hand visiting Morrisville State College field hockey the 5-2 non-conference loss Saturday afternoon in Scranton, PA.

Morrisville State drops to 0-2 on the season, while Keystone improves to 1-2 overall.

The Giants struck first, posting the lone first half score on the board 29:39 into the contest.

Morrisville State rallied for two straight to take the lead, the first at the 38 minute mark on an unassisted score by Rebecca Quackenbush (Barker, NY), and another 10 minutes later from Sarah Angerer (Cooperstown, NY), but were unable to hold on as Keystone fired the tying score past goalkeeper Paige Jerrett (Parish, NY) in the 61st minute.

Minutes later, Hope Krolewski regained the lead for Keystone and added another a minute later as the Giants secured the win.

Jerrett recorded the loss for the Mustangs in net, saving four as Keystone held the 15-10 advantage in shots in the contest.
