Hosmer scores lone goal in 8, 1 loss to Oswego State

Todd Hosmer (Scarborough, ONT) scored the lone goal for Morrisville State Saturday night in State University of New York Athletic Conference action against #2 Oswego State.



The Oswego State Lakers scored four unanswered goals in the first period with Paul Rodrigues scoring three. Chris Azzano (Oshawa, ONT) had seven saves in the period for the Mustangs.



The Mustangs put on a defensive effort in the second period only allowing one goal by Oswego as Colin Breen (Waterloo, ONT) recorded 26 saves between the pipes in the second period.



The only goal for Morrisville came in the third period from Hosmer, with the assist coming from Alex Tillaart (Ashburn, ONT) and Tom Longland (Dunnville, ONT) while the Lakers had an additional three goals to seal the deal.



Breen recorded the loss in net for the Mustangs recording 35 total saves.



All proceeds from the game event went towards the battle of Multiple Sclerosis.



The Mustangs next play next Saturday February, 11 against Manhattanville College at the Clinton Arena in Clinton, NY.
