Men's soccer plays to a 1-1 tie against Lancaster Bible

After nearly a two hour delay due to road conditions met by the traveling Lancaster Bible College, the Mustangs and Chargers battled to a 1-1 tie.



Just over 18 minutes into the game Lancaster Bible's Taylor Dooley (Taneytown, M.D.) put the Chargers on the board receiving a pass from Andrew Risser (Lancaster, P.A.) in front of the cage. The Mustangs were quick to answer, scoring a little over a minute and a half later. Gilroy Alvarez (Guatemala) knocked in a rebound off of a shot from Sanley Pierre Louis(Gaithersburg, M.D.).



The Mustangs and Chargers remained scoreless through the second half and two overtimes.



Jarrod Bergey (Sellersville, P.A.) recorded the tie in net for the visiting Chargers, playing the full 110 minutes tallying four saves. The Mustangs goalkeeper Shane Sullivan (Sherrill, N.Y.) recorded the tie, tallying 6 saves and also playing the full 110 minutes.



The Morrisville State men's soccer team returns to action home against non-conference opponent Alfred State on Wednesday, September 14 at 4 p.m.
