Morrisville State athletics to host TAKG field hockey program Friday

The Morrisville State College athletic department is pleased to host a “Take a Kid to the Game” program Friday, October 8th as the Mustangs field hockey team takes on conference rival SUNY Oneonta at 4 p.m. in the stadium.



The TAKG program is a nationally recognized program initiated by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) that encourages adults to take kids to collegiate athletic contests, providing institutions the opportunity to introduce intercollegiate athletics and the respective institution to youth in the community. The NCAA is in its 15th year of this grassroots program.



Admission to the game is free to children 12 and under accompanied by an adult, along with modified, junior varsity, and varsity high school players attending the game in their field hockey jersey.



Following the game, Mustang field hockey players will be available for a meet and greet, along with an autograph session in the stadium plaza prior to the kick off of the Morrisville-Eaton/Little Falls Varsity game at 6:30.
