Morrisville State field hockey drops game to Hartwick College 2-0

Morrisville State College field hockey team fell to Hartwick College 2-0 tonight in Hartwick. Their record drops to 5-7 overall in the season.



Megan Lefeber scored both goals for the Eagles, one in each half. The first goal was scored 32 minutes into the half, assisted by Kelsey Kimball. The second goal was scored midway through the second half, assisted by Amanda Barton.



Morrisville's goaltender Kelsey Pellegrino (Cicero, NY) recorded the loss in net, tallying nine saves and two goals against.



Hartwick's Mackenzie Chapman played all 70 minutes in net, saving seven and shut out the Mustangs.



The Mustangs return to the Drake Field to play Friday, October 8 at 4 p.m. They face SUNY Oneonta before they head back on the road.
