Morrisville State hockey joins Saves For A Cure efforts

The Morrisville State College men's ice hockey program has teamed up with Saves For A Cure, Saturday, February 5th in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) contest against SUNY Plattsburgh.



Saves For A Cure is a non-profit organization founded by former SUNY Brockport goaltender and cancer survivor, Todd Sheridan, aimed to help children with their battle against cancer. The program assists in enhancing hospital stays for children undergoing cancer treatments at the James P Wilmot Cancer Center in Rochester.



All gate proceeds from the contest will be donated to the Saves For A Cure program, along with revenue received from a 50/50 raffle, programs, and general donation buckets. Also, Morrisville State will be holding an online jersey auction for Morrisville State jerseys worn during the commemorative event. The online auction will begin Monday, January 24 and continue through Sunday, February 6 at 5 p.m. Winners will be announced Monday, February 7.
