Junior forward Mike Dolman (Hawthorne, N.J.) scored a goal and assisted on another to lead the Mustangs to a 2-2 draw with Neumann University Friday night in Morrisville.

The tie is the second for the Mustangs in 2012, as they are now 1-11-2 overall and 1-7 in conference play.

Morrisville also got numbers from Jamie Nelson (Stratford, Ont.), who scored the other Mustang goal, while Ryan Marcuz (Richmond Hill, Ont.) added the other assist.

Jakob Rasmussen (Vellentuna, Swe.) earned the tie in net for the Mustangs, turning away 45 as Morrisville held the 50-47 edge in shots on goal.

Neumann was led by Chris Bournazos, who tallied a goal and an assist with Harley Garrioch recording the other Neumann goal. Craig Cowie and Dan McDougall also recorded an assist each.

Ben Curley recorded the tie between the pipes for Neumann, turning away 48, including 19 in the second period.

Neumann University found the back of the net first on a short-handed effort at 6:34 into the second period when Chris Bournazos jumped on a loose puck at mid ice and fed the streaking Harley Garrioch.

Morrisville State evened the score at 19:12 when Nelson took a Dolman and Marcuz assist and placed the puck past Curley.

With less than five minutes to go in regulation, Dolman scored an unassisted power play goal for the Mustangs, giving them the 2-1 advantage.

Less than two minutes later, Neumann evened the score at 2 apiece, sending the game into overtime.

Despite a flurry of action on both ends of the ice, neither team was able to find the back of the net in overtime.

Morrisville State returns to the ice on Saturday, as they host Neumann University at 3PM.
