Morrisville State to host TAKG program Saturday, October 8th against Western Connecticut

The Morrisville State College athletic department invites all area children to take part in the NCAA Football's 17th annual “Take a Kid to the Game” (TAKG) program as the Mustangs take on Western Connecticut State University, Saturday, October 8 at 12 p.m. in the college's stadium. Kids, ages 12 and younger, will receive free admission with the purchase of an adult ticket.



The first 100 kids admitted to the game will receive a free “game day” pack, including a Mustang t-shirt! A meet and greet with the Mustang players along with an autograph session will follow the conclusion of the game.



“We are excited about this event,” Greg Carroll, athletic director at Morrisville State College stated. “It's a great opportunity to introduce not only our athletics program to the surrounding community members, but our stadium facility as well.”



Morrisville State College is one of more than 200 schools across the nation participating in this campaign focused on allowing youth the opportunity to attend college football games. The NCAA is in its 17th year of this grassroots program.



Tickets for the game are available at the gate up to one hour prior to the contest. Adult admission is $5, $2 for students and senior citizens.
