Sophomore guard Brandon Hanks (Syracuse, N.Y.) poured in 20 points to lead the visiting Morrisville State College men's basketball team to an 80-69 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) victory over host Lancaster Bible College Saturday afternoon in Lancaster.

It's the fourth straight victory for the Mustangs who improve to 7-6 overall, and remain undefeated in conference play at 4-0. Lancaster Bible dropped to 2-10 overall, 1-5 in NEAC action.

Hanks was 8-for-14 from the floor, while adding three rebounds, an assist and two steals to his tallies on the day. Three additional Mustangs posted double figures, including Mickey Davis (Jamesville, N.Y.) with 15, Kyle Gordon (Riverhead, N.Y.) 13 and Brandon Henry (Brooklyn, N.Y.) 10. Kucjok Ater (Syracuse, N.Y.) and Hodges Sneed (Syracuse, N.Y.) each grabbed seven rebounds to lead Morrisville State on the glass.

Keith Keltner led the Chargers with 21 points, adding six rebounds, while teammates Andrew Risser posted 11 points, and Madison Warfel and Corey Leonard each 10 in the loss.

Morrisville State shot 53 percent from the floor in the first half, including hitting 6-of-11 from downtown, to claim the 43-32 lead at the break.

In the second, Lancaster inched to within eight midway through the period, but the Mustangs went on an 13-4 run to regain a 17 point advantage that proved to be too much for the Chargers to overcome.

Morrisville State returns to the court Tuesday, hosting Cobleskill in a conference match-up at 5 p.m. in the John W. Stewart Center for Student Activities Gymnasium on the Morrisville campus.
