Morrisville State men post 16-4 victory over Penn State Abington

The Morrisville State College men's lacrosse team remained undefeated in conference action Saturday afternoon, posting a 16-4 victory over host Penn State Abington in Abington, PA.



With the win, Morrisville State improves to 6-2 overall, 3-0 in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action, while Abington drops to 0-11 overall.



Morrisville State led 10-2 at the half, adding three apiece in the final two quarters, while 11 different players tallied goals in the contest, led by Thomas Owens (Cazenovia, NY) with three with two assists. Adam Lewis (Painted Post, NY), Curtis Renaud (Carlisle, ONT), and Brendan Shannon (Stanhope, NJ) each added two. Lewis also assisted two.



Freshman Tom Huber (West Islip, NY) recorded the win in net, making eight stops in his collegiate debut.



Kyle Andress led the Nittany Lions with two goals and an assist while goalkeeper Trevor Jones posted eight saves in the loss.



Morrisville State returns to the field Thursday, traveling to Hilbert College for a 4 p.m. face-off.
