Morrisville State men snap three-game losing streak with convincing victory over Cazenovia

The Morrisville State College men's basketball team snapped a three-game losing streak Wednesday night, posting a victory over North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) rival Cazenovia College by an 88-71 final in Cazenovia.



Morrisville State led by three at the break before Cazenovia shot just 27 percent from the floor, compared to the Mustangs 59 percent, in the second half.



Senior Bryan Eddy (White Plains, NY) led Morrisville State with 16 points and 14 boards, while four additional teammates posted double figures in the win. Dwayne Wade (Beacon, NY) and Darren Green (Greece, NY) each posted 15, Brandon Hanks (Syracuse, NY) 12, and Wayne Turner (Brooklyn, NY) 10.



Bryant Winans had 23 to lead Cazenovia.



Morrisville State improves to 5-10 overall, 4-6 in conference play, and returns to the court Saturday against Penn State Harrisburg. Tip-off is scheduled for 3 p.m. in the John W. Stewart Center for Student Activities Gymnasium.
