Morrisville State men's hoops ends season at NEAC quarterfinals, Gallaudet claims 80-69 victory

The Morrisville State College men's basketball season came to an end Friday night as fourth seed Gallaudet University claimed the 80-69 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) championship tournament quarterfinal game over the Mustangs in Middletown, PA.



Morrisville State concludes the 2010-11 campaign with a 12-13 overall record, 10-8 in conference action, appearing the NEAC tournament for the second straight season.



Morrisville State trailed by 13 at the break and was unable to recover in the second, as Gallaudet out shot the Mustangs 55 to 43 percent in the final twenty.



Wayne Turner (Brooklyn, NY) and Brandon Hanks (Syracuse, NY) each tallied 18 points in the loss, with Turner adding six assists and five steals. Bryan Eddy (White Plains, NY) rounded out top scoring for the Mustangs with 12 points, grabbing seven boards.



Brandon McMillan led the Bisons with 20 points and seven rebounds while teammate Danny Kelly added 19 points and seven boards.
