Morrisville State men's lacrosse claims regular season conference title with perfect 6-0 record

The Morrisville State College men's lacrosse team rolled to a 20-9 victory over host Wells College in Aurora Monday afternoon, claiming their second straight regular season conference title with a perfect record.



The Mustangs take the title for the second straight season with an undefeated North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) record at 6-0, while improving their overall record to 10-3.



Morrisville State posted a 10-2 lead at half, before posting 10 more in the second half en route to the victory.



Adam Lewis (Painted Post, NY) led Morrisville State with six goals, including four in the first half, while Thomas Owens (Cazenovia, NY) added four. Dean Priest (Hinesburg, VT) and Andrew Stein (Oswego, NY) each tallied two, while assisting five and one, respectively. Six additional Mustangs recorded one apiece in the win.



Michael Hinchey (Lake Katrine, NY) recorded the win in net, saving seven in 56:27 of play, while Tom Huber (West Islip, NY) finished the final 3:33 between the pipes.



Daniel Munsell had three goals for Wells College with Kylan Hallett and Forrest Lambert each adding two. David Kaus made nine stops in the loss for the Express.



Morrisville State returns to the field Friday to close out the regular season, hosting Vassar College at 7 p.m.
