Morrisville State to offer basketball and all-sports camps

The Morrisville State College athletics department will be offering a week-long Mustang Basketball Camp and All-Sports Camp this summer, on the Morrisville State campus.

From July 8 – 12, Morrisville State will be hosting a Mustang Basketball Camp that will place emphasis on basic basketball skills and fundamentals on a daily basis. Campers will be placed into groups based on skill level and will participate in game like situations. The camp is designed to focus on individual skill development while maintaining a competitive atmosphere.

The camp, conducted by Morrisville State head men’s basketball coach and D3hoops.com East Region Coach of the Year, Joseph Smith, is $175 per camper and will take place in the college’s newly renovated Student Activities Gymnasium. It is open to those entering 7th – 12th grade in the fall.

The following week, from July 15 – 18, Morrisville State will be hosting a week long all-sports endeavor that will introduce several different sports to campers and work on basic introductory fundamentals on a daily basis.

The camp is open to boys and girls entering 2nd – 6th grade in the fall, and costs $125 per camper.
