Morrisville State women fall 68-57 to Potsdam at Kevin Fee/Roo Classic Tournament

Visiting Morrisville State College women's basketball dropped their second straight contest of the 2011-12 season, falling by a 68-57 final to SUNY Potsdam at the Kevin Fee/Roo Classic Tournament held at SUNY Canton Friday night.



Morrisville State drops to 0-2 overall.



Potsdam led 31-25 at the half, and came out in the second on fire, going on a 20-5 run over the Mustangs enroute to the non-conference victory.



Dyshea Smiley (Harlem, NY) led the Mustangs with 16 points, adding six rebounds and five assists in the efforts, while teammate Nijah Townsend (Bronx, NY) and Nijee Scott (Bronx, NY) each added 15. Townsend controlled the boards for Morrisville State with 13 on the night, as Scott added seven along with three assists.



Tierra Hollins-Hill (Bronx, NY) netted 10, rounding out double digit scoring for the Mustangs.



Morrisville State returns to the court tomorrow, playing against Bard College at SUNY Canton.
