Colleen Callaghan scored three times to lead the visiting Hamilton College Continentals to the 7-2 non-conference victory over Morrisville State College Wednesday evening in Morrisville.

Catie Torcivia gave the Continentals the early one goal lead, netting the first Hamilton score unassisted just 2:42 into the contest. Torcivia found Erin McNally in the 15th minute on a penalty corner play to increase the Hamilton lead to two, before Morrisville State's Lauren Bordonaro (North Tonawanda, NY) responded with a tip into the cage to cut the lead to 2-1.

Callaghan added her first of the night moments before the end of the first half, dodging Morrisville State keeper Kelsey Pellegrino (Cicero, NY) for the score.

In the second, Hamilton scored four straight within a 20 minute span for a significant 7-1 lead, with Callaghan netting two of the scores, before Bordonaro added her second of the night for the Mustangs to close out all scoring in the contest.

Molly Brooks recorded the win in net for Hamilton, saving two as the Continentals improve to 12-2 overall.

Pellegrino tallied six saves in the loss for the Mustangs and was replaced by Mary View (Herkimer, NY) who recorded one stop in the final 26:28.

Morrisville State returns to the field Friday, traveling to the University of Rochester.
