Mustangs men's basketball team pulls 66-60 upset over SUNYIT

Morrisville State men's basketball team pulled off a 66-60 upset over SUNYIT today in Morrisville in North Eastern Athletic Conference action.



Trailing by two at the half, Morrisville State outshot the Wildcats a season best 52 percent compared to SUNYIT's 30.6 percent from the floor in the second half, posting 35 points en route to the victory.



Brandon Henry (Bronx, NY) led the Mustangs with 15 points, two assists, two rebounds, one steal and one block. Dwyane Wade (Beacon, NY) tallied 12 points, eight assists, two steals, one block and 11 rebounds. Hodges Sneed (Syracuse, NY) added nine rebounds, eight points, three assists and three steals.



David Golembiowski (Barneveld, NY) led the Wildcats with 28 points, 12 rebounds, four assists, five blocks and a steal. Teammate Calvin Logins (Lyons, NY) added14 rebounds, 14 points, an assist and three steals.



The SUNYIT Wildcats record falls to 2-2 in NEAC play, 2-6 overall.



Morrisville improves to 3-5 overall and 2-2 in conference play.



Morrisville return to the court for back-to-back home games on Jan. 8 and 9 to play Penn State Berks and Penn State Abington.
