NEAC announces 2012 Men's Basketball Tournament Bracket; Morrisville State tops field

The North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) office announced its 2012 Men's Basketball Championship Tournament pairings Monday morning, with Morrisville State College topping the tournament field.



Morrisville State completed its 2011-12 schedule on Saturday, recording a NCAA best 17-8 record, and 14-1 record in conference play, topping the North Division. The Mustangs will face the winner of the Tuesday play-in game between Penn State Berks (9-5 NEAC) and Gallaudet (8-6), Saturday, February 25 at 4 p.m. on the Morrisville State campus.



Penn State Harrisburg, who finished the regular conference schedule with a 12-2 NEAC record, claimed the top spot in the Southern Division and will see rival Wells College (11-4 NEAC), in the first semi-final on Saturday at 2 p.m. in Morrisville.



Winners of the semi-final games will advance to the championship, scheduled for Sunday, February 26 at 2 p.m. in Morrisville.
