O'Hara, Breen named Mustang Athletes of the Week

The Morrisville State College athletic department has named hunt seat open rider Keeley O'Hara (Cazenovia, NY) and ice hockey's netminder Colin Breen (Waterloo, ONT) the Mustang Athletes of the Week for the week ending October 30.



O'Hara led the hunt seat equestrian team to a third place finish at the Hartwick Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Invitational on Saturday, placing second overall in the open equitation over fences class before topping all riders with a blue ribbon finish in the open equitation on the flat class.



The graduate of Skaneateles High is a freshman majoring in equine science and management at Morrisville State. She is the daughter of Suzanne McGowan and Deege O'Hara of Delphi Falls, New York.



Breen turned away 45 on Friday night to secure a season opening 4-1 victory over State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) opponent SUNY Potsdam. Twenty of Breen's saves came in the final period of the contest.



The sophomore is majoring in renewable energy technology at Morrisville State. He is the son of Heather Calhoun and Mike Breen of Waterloo, Ontario.
