Host SUNY Oneonta won seven of 10 matches Wednesday night enroute to a 31-10 victory over Morrisville State College wrestling in Oneonta.
Junior 125 pounder Justin Delamothe (Cross River, NY) put Morrisville State ahead early, recording a technical fall over David Bailen by a 15-0 final, but Oneonta posted wins in the next four matches to take a commanding lead.
Nate Cross (Hudson Falls, NY) sparked a Morrisville comeback attempt, recording a 5-0 decision over Frankie Provenzano at 165 pounds and Jeremy Hoyte (Hempstead, NY) followed with a 9-3 decision over David Kohls at 174, but Morrisville State fell short as Oneonta picked up the win.
Morrisville State returns to the mats Saturday, February 19 at the NYU duals.
