The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) has released its 2012 Division III All-East Men’s Soccer All-Star teams, naming Morrisville State College’s senior forward Sanley Pierre-Louis (Gaithersburg, Md.) to its second team.

The Mustangs completed the 2012 season with a program best 15-5-1 overall record, claimed the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship Tournament title and made a program first appearance in the NCAA Championship Tournament.

Part of Morrisville State’s success was due to a stellar senior campaign by Pierre-Louis, who scored a conference-best 29 points on a NEAC-leading 14 goals and one assist on the season, with 13 of those scores coming in conference action and three of them being game winners.

Pierre-Louis had at least two goals in four different contests and registered two hat tricks on the year, which earned him NEAC Player of the Year honors, First-Team All-Conference honors and three NEAC Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week awards this season.

In his four year career with the Mustangs, he has played in 58 games, netted 32 goals and tallied four assists giving him 68 career points, while earning 2nd team and 3rd team All-Conference honors in 2011 and 2009, respectively.

Pierre-Louis is the son of Ronald Pierre-Louis and Marie Sonia Jean and is majoring in Technology Management at Morrisville State.
