Rigg earns Mustang Athlete of the Week honors

The Morrisville State College athletic department has named short stop, Jessica Rigg (Homer, NY) the Mustang Athlete of the Week for the week ending March 20.



Rigg was instrumental to the softball team's 3-5 opening week record, tallying six hits and six runs in 17 at bats. She recorded three RBI's on a double and triple hit, and had three stolen bases.



Rigg also accounted for nine put outs and 11 assists.



The sophomore is majoring in sports, nutrition and fitness management at Morrisville State. She is the daughter of Susan Fitzgerald and Budd Rigg of Homer, New York.
