Sophomore midfielder, Erin Rundle (Marathon, NY) netted two goals to lead the Morrisville State College women's soccer team to a 3-1 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) victory over visiting Gallaudet University Sunday afternoon in Morrisville.

Morrisville State improves to 3-9-1 overall, 2-7-1 in conference play.

Rundle put the Mustangs on the board early in the contest, firing a shot from the top of the box over the head of Gallaudet keeper Casey McCullough just 2:22 in.

Minutes later, Johanna Arrigo collected her own rebounded shot and evened the score, before Rundle tallied her second of the day, firing the ball into the upper left corner of the goal off a cross from Krista Baxter (Downsville, NY) in the 20th minute to regain the lead for the Mustangs.

Early in the second half, Baxter added a third Morrisville State score, firing the ball from outside the box that deflected off a defender into the net.

Jennifer Zidzik (Lambertville, NJ) recorded the win in net, saving 10.

McCullogh had 12 saves in the loss for the Bison.

Morrisville State returns to the field Saturday at Wells College.
