Stillar, Breen earn SUNYAC Weekly Hockey Honors

The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) office released its weekly award winners, naming Morrisville State College's Patrick Stillar (Burlington, ONT) and Colin Breen (Waterloo, ONT) the men's ice hockey Rookie of the Week and Goalie of the Week, respectively, for the week ending November 13.



Stillar tallied a goal and two assists over the weekend, including a goal and assist against top nationally ranked Oswego on Saturday. Stillar gave Morrisville State the early 1-0 lead just 1:21 into the contest on a power play tally.



Currently leading all freshmen in the conference in scoring, Stillar has recorded two goals and five assists for the Mustangs, for seven points.



Stillar is majoring in sports, nutrition and fitness management at Morrisville State. He is the son of Monique Wills of Burlington, Ontario.



Breen registered 77 saves over the weekend in over 126 minutes of play in net, earning Goalie of the Week honors. On Friday, Morrisville State suffered a heartbreaking 5-4 overtime loss to Cortland in which Breen tallied 26 saves. Saturday night against top nationally ranked SUNY Oswego, he posted a collegiate best 51 saves in net to secure a 3-3 overtime draw, including seven in the extra frame alone.



The sophomore is majoring in renewable energy technology at Morrisville State. He is the son of Heather Calhoun and Mike Breen of Waterloo, Ontario.
