Women's soccer fights to 0-0 tie against SUNY Cobleskill

The Morrisville State College women's soccer team fought to a 0-0 tie against SUNY Cobleskill this evening in conference play. The Mustangs are now to 1-4-1 overall and 0-3-1 in conference play, while the Fighting Tigers are now 2-4-2 overall and 1-1-2 in the NEAC.



Both teams had several opportunities to score, but strong defensive play and goaltending on both ends kept the game scoreless.



Jody Pendergast (Phoenix, N.Y.) records the tie for Cobleskill, tallying six saves.



The Mustangs goalkeeper, Jennifer Zidzik (Yarley, P.A.) records the tie, tallying seven saves.



The Morrisville State women's soccer team is back on the field Saturday, September 24 at home against conference foe College of St. Elizabeth at 1 PM on Lemery Field.



The Fighting Tigers are also back in action on Saturday, September 24 as they face conference opponent Penn State Abington at 3 PM at home.
