Women's soccer takes early lead, but falls to SUNY IT 5-1.



Kara Collins (New Berlin, N.Y.) put the Morrisville State women's soccer team out to an early 1-0 lead scoring off of a cross from Erin Rundle (Marathon, N.Y.) five minutes into the match.



SUNY IT answered back with two goals from Nicole DiNitto (Oriskany, N.Y.), making the score 2-1 Wildcats at half time.



Stephanie Wurz(Utica, N.Y.), Abbey Hanehan (Stillwater, N.Y.) and Jamie Elderbroom (Chittenango, N.Y.) each added a goal in the second half putting SUNY IT up by four.



Jennifer Zidzik (Lambertsville, N.J.) recorded the loss for Morrisville State, tallying 17 saves.



Aubrey Campbell (Auburn, N.Y.) recorded the win for the Wildcats.



The Mustangs are now 1-4 overall and fall to 0-3 in conference play.



Morrisville State returns home Thursday, September 22 to face off against conference opponent Cobleskill at 6 p.m.
