EOP Pre-College Summer Institute FAQ

What is EOP?

The State University of New York's Educational Opportunity Program provides access, academic support and financial aid to students who demonstrate the potential for college success but would otherwise be excluded from higher education due to circumstances of academic under preparation and economic disadvantage. Available primarily to full-time, matriculated students, the program supports students throughout their college careers.

When does the summer program begin? End?

The dates for the summer program vary. However, the program typically begins in July and ends on the first Saturday of August. Students are required to check in at the start of the program. Check our webpage for specific start dates.
