Through its innovative learning environment and dedicated staff, the SUNY Morrisville Donald G. Butcher Library is committed to helping you become a confident and independent thinker guided by the effective use of information resources.
Named for the college’s fourth president, Donald G. Butcher, the library offers wireless access, comfortable study areas, computer work stations, a document scanner, and quick-print computer stations. It has reference consultations, interlibrary loan and information literacy instruction.
Our knowledgeable librarians are available to help you find and use information from library and outside information resources.
The library’s digital collection includes more than 90 online databases with full-text articles from more than 100,000 periodicals and online reference materials, more than 20,000 ebooks, and streaming video.
Our print and materials collection consists of more than 80,000 books, 160-plus journals and newspapers, and 2,100-plus DVDs and videocassettes.
The library’s online catalog, course and subject guides, digital course reserves, and electronic resources can be accessed from anywhere on or off campus, 24 hours a day, seven days a week via the links at the top of this page. The first floor of the library also houses tutoring services.
