Greetings! I am Linda McCormack-Miller, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, Assistant Professor of Nursing at SUNY Morrisville’s Norwich Campus.
I have more than 40 years of progressive leadership and clinical experience in healthcare. After earning my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University in South Orange, New Jersey, I was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy. During my naval career, I served at Portsmouth Naval Hospital, Camp Lejeune Naval Hospital, and Oakland Naval Hospital, gaining invaluable experience in patient care, leadership, and healthcare operations.
I went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois. I am board-certified in Advanced Nursing Administration (NEA-BC).
In January 2022, I began my academic career as a part-time professional tutor at SUNY Morrisville’s Norwich Campus. Later that year, in September, I was honored to join the faculty full-time as an Assistant Professor of Nursing. Teaching future nurses has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my career.
