Hello Students and welcome to SUNY Morrisville School of Nursing.  I am an adjunct clinical instructor at SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital.  I have ambled in the nursing field since 1977, climbing up the nursing ladder rungs of NA, LPN, RN, BSN, MSN – Ed.  Currently working on reaching the last rung, a Ph.D.

Hello everyone! I am Tyler R. Colbert, an assistant professor at SUNY Morrisville’s nursing division, and I joined the Morrisville nursing faculty in Fall ‘23. Prior to Morrisville, I have worked at multiple other SUNY institutions, including the University at Buffalo.

Welcome to SUNY Morrisville Nursing! I am a graduate of Mohawk Valley Community College, SUNY Oswego and the University of Phoenix. I have been a registered nurse since 2012 specializing in Medical/Surgical nursing and have worked in healthcare for 25 years. I continue to work and grow clinically at the bedside as a practicing nurse.

Welcome to SUNY Morrisville Nursing! I am the simulation coordinator and student support specialist. Throughout my career as a registered nurse and family nurse practitioner, I have gained experience in several different specialties and settings including medical-surgical nursing, operating room circulating, women’s health and fertility, and family medicine.

Welcome to Morrisville Nursing! As part of the clinical faculty, I have a deep passion for rural health and clinical education—both shaped by my roots in Chenango County, NY. My journey started with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hartwick College. I then worked as an RN in pediatrics and step-down ICU, developing a strong foundation in patient-centered care. 

Welcome to the SUNY Morrisville Nursing Program! I have been an adjunct instructor in the clinical setting for 18 years at SUNY Morrisville. It has been my pleasure to help students transition from the classroom to the clinical setting by applying skills learned in class and lab, to real life situations.

Welcome to SUNY Morrisville! I am an Instructional Support Technician (IST) within the nursing lab department working on the Norwich campus. I have been a nurse for 33 years and most of my nursing career was in the US Air Force. I retired after 28 years of service and had a varied experience of medical surgical, obstetrical, administrative and aeromedical evacuation nursing.

Welcome to SUNY Morrisville Nursing! I am a nursing faculty and the division chairperson. My nursing experience spans over 30 years in the specialty areas of critical care, ambulatory surgery, travel nursing, and nursing education. My teaching passion is NCLEX style test development. I am from central NY and currently live in the North Country.

Hello. My name is Alessandro Rendina. I am an Associate Professor of Nursing and have been with SUNY Morrisville since 2017. I have been a registered nurse for over 20 years, and I have taught in some capacity for over 15 years. I have taught in all levels of the nursing program on Morrisville and Norwich campuses in both the classroom and clinical settings.

Welcome to our nursing program. I have a 40+ years of nursing experience, working in the Emergency Dept, ICU, Pediatrics, IV home care, and Home Health Care. I also have had the pleasure to teach nursing during the past 15+ years. I have always enjoyed being a part of the educational dreams of our students.

My career in nursing began after earning a Diploma in Nursing from the Mount Vernon Hospital School of Nursing. I then pursued further education, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the College of Mount St.
