Your path to becoming a nurse starts here. Welcome to SUNY Morrisville Nursing! I am a clinical adjunct professor, having officially started in Fall of 2025.  I have been a nurse for almost 20 years and am a proud graduate of Tompkins-Cortland Community College where I obtained my associate's in applied science.  I went on to earn my bachelor's in nursing (BSN) from SUNY Delhi, followed by my master's in nursing with emphasis in Healthcare systems and nursing leadership from Grand Canyon University.  My clinical experience was centered in critical care where I spent the early part of my career in the ICCU and cardiac services, including interventional cardiology.  It laid the cornerstone for my nursing career, far beyond what I had imagined, leading me to healthcare administration.

I carried the dream of nursing with me since I was seven, and I recognize that achieving one's childhood aspirations is a rare gift.  I will be forever grateful for the incredible, ever-evolving world of nursing!  As a nurse leader and educator, I am a firm believer in serving others through accountability, compassion and grace.  By doing that we can accomplish anything!

Away from the workplace, I have an amazing, blended family which consists of my exceptional husband and our five perfectly, imperfect children.  I enjoy traveling, cooking/ baking, being outdoors and dare I say out loud... cleaning! I am excited to be part of the SUNY Morrisville community and to help grow this extraordinary profession of nursing.  Now let's learn, grow, and make the difference!
