Peer tutoring is a flexible, paid opportunity to help fellow students while strengthening your own skills and gaining valuable experience. Peer tutors work through Knack, SUNY Morrisville's peer tutoring platform.
Why Become a Peer Tutor?
- Set your own schedule and choose when you're available to tutor.
- Get paid to tutor courses you've already successfully completed.
- Meet online or in person, depending on what works for you and the student you're tutoring.
- Build valuable experience in communication, leadership, problem-solving, and working with others.
- Help fellow Mustangs succeed by sharing the knowledge and strategies that helped you succeed.
Who Can Become a Peer Tutor?
Students who have successfully completed eligible SUNY Morrisville courses with a B+ or higher may qualify to tutor those courses through Knack.
How to Get Started
- Sign in to Knack using your SUNY Morrisville credentials.
- Create your tutor profile and see which courses you're eligible to tutor.
- Complete the tutor onboarding process.
- Set your availability and start connecting with students.
